YangYang NanoSensation 80 Review
by Anthony 'Ants' Kong

Specs: 4UG2 , HeadLight Strings: Yonex BG66
Tension: I requested it to be strung at 28lbs 1 Piece stringing. It was strung by the supplier who sent the racket to me.
Grip: Original Grip but I change it to my usual towel grip
Technology: Nanotechnology, NanoPower Frame, GreatFeel Core.

First Impression:
The paint job and the looks of the racket reminds me of NanoSpeed8000. I feel comfortable holding this racket. Well balanced.

Warm Ups:
Baseline drives are fairly good. Initially I need to swing more , but after getting a hang of it , this racket does perform well. Not much vibration felt and surprisingly this racket is forgiving. Reaction is fast when I was doing my normal fast and quick flat drives routine. Overall the racket is well made. This NanoSensation 80 racket may feel or look like an ordinary racket but wait until you see how it perform during gametime.

Game Time:
I really like the feel of this racket. I don’t have any problem with timing my shots. I adapt to this racket naturally which I find it good. The drops and feel is definitely there. I can even do some tricks easily. What I like about this racket is that it is stiff yet at the same time flexible. The slim shaft does give you the whipping effect which reminds me of MP90. With the combination of Yonex BG66, the repulsion and the sounds makes you feel at ease and motivated to play more. Even though this is a head light racket, the power generated by its boxed shaped frame will make you want to smash and smash and smash. Initially you may find it hard to use this racket if you are not used to a head light racket , but once you get used to it, you will surely love this one. If you have a hard time defending , you may find it easy to defend using this racket. NanoSensation 80 does suits the thinking players as well, which usually they rely more on control , feel rather than the usual aggressive play.

Among all the YangYang racket that I come across with. This is their best headlight racket so far in my personal opinion. Not only that, if the price is good , Nanosensation 80 may give those other brands a run for their money as well.

I would rate this racket in terms of Feel, Control , Power and Defense. However it is based on my own test and review. It may vary depending on the player, tension and what string you use.

Feel: 9/10
Control: 8.5/10
Power: 8/10
Defense: 8.5/10

Pros: Nice color , Feel , Control , Power and Defense.

Cons: None ( but i would prefer it a little heavy maybe few grams more )

Suitability: Beginner/Intermediate/Advance. Singles racket.
