Globe Telecom and Innove Communications gathered together several outsourcing companies for a day of recreation and fun at the 1st OUTSMASH Invitational Badminton Tournament.

More than 120 players from Accenture, Sykes Asia, ICT Marketing Services, Infonxx, Branders.com, Harte-Hanks, Ambergris Solutions, Sutherland, ePerformax, Innove and Globe joined the tournament held last July 28 at The Zone in Makati City.

Globe and Innove organized this event for the outsourcing industry to demonstrate their appreciation to valued corporate customers. Also, Globe and Innove understand the needs and concerns of clients and supports their efforts to address these by initiating projects or launching events such as the 1st OUTSMASH. The tournament aims to help prevent attrition and provide employees with activities that would allow them to release stress and relax after work.

Accenture emerged as the champion with Sykes Asia grabbing the 1st runner up post and Infonxx as 2nd runner up. The winners received trophies, medals, gift checks and stuffed toys from Globe and Innove. Various sports items were also given away to participants during the awarding ceremony.

An exhibition match with the former national team players was also held during the 1st OUTSMASH Invitational Badminton Tournament and there was a junior exhibition match by noted players from various age-group tournaments.
